edith minturn "edie" sedgwick (april 20, 1943 – november 16, 1971) was an american actress, socialite, model, and heiress. she is best known for being one of andy warhol's muses. sedgwick became known as "the girl of the year" in 1965 after starring in several of andy warhol's short films in the 1960s. warhol's films were not generally a commercial success and were rarely seen outside the factory, as sedgwick's popularity grew mainstream media outlets began reporting on her appearances in warhol's underground films and her unusual fashion sense. edie's life is portrayed in the movie "the factory girl". the movie is a deep, dark narrative of the love,drama,sex and drugs that were part of her life and death. if you are a fan of andy warhol,biopics and underground type films-this is definitely one to see!

the nail varnish of the moment is hey!get it lime! by opi. this lacquer is part of opi brights collection. in my quest to find spring, i thought it was time to brighten up my digits! hey!get it lime! is not as lime as it sounds. this pastel green color reminds me of a baby shower when you buy a gift not knowing the gender of the newborn-that color green! it also reminds me of easter sunday dinner! for the woman that keeps her nail lacquer neutral, but would like a little kick try hey!get it lime! by opi.

i got these shoes maybe about 2 years ago. they sat in my shoe closet (which is under construction) until i got inspired to re-purpose them! i used a needle and thread, as well as, hot glue to carefully create a pump/bootie that kicks the concrete's butt! u like? i love!

pointillism is a style of painting in which small distinct points of primary colors create the impression of a wide selection of secondary and intermediate colors. simply stated -creating a drawing with points or dots — no lines. the young man that created this artistic visual is in stateville! he is a very talented man that has found a way to channel his skills into works of art. he doesnt get out until 2016, but i will be sending him a flick-cause i need some pointillism in my life!

my hair game is meen!

i have had almost every hairstyle imaginable since i was eight! and fortunately due to him, my bone structure and bloodline i have the ability to rock many different hairstyles. i have been cutting, shaping, dyeing, frying and manipulating my tresses for almost twenty years. i use to hate hate hate hair extensions(except braids), but about three years ago i rocked my first(decent) weave, and became addicted! dont get confused i do rock my own hair routinely (cause i cant stand ones that cant live without weave-more on that later!) anyway, so a couple weeks ago i tried a short weave called a 27 piece! mine is a little different, my stylist cuts my 10inches down-creating a short,chic, anita/halle type cut. ive been here before but im growing my hair-sooo0 fighting the crave to cut my hair i gelled and weaved it!
